The Towada Art Center held a solo exhibition by Nara Yoshitomo, an internationally acclaimed artist from Aomori Prefecture.
In his work, Nara depicts children with defiant attitudes or anxious eyes. He also produces animals which look lonely yet somehow humorous. His new exhibition, ‘The Little Little House in the Blue Woods’, contains early and recent paintings, drawings and three-dimensional works. It introduces Nara’s activities on a full and comprehensive scale.
